After a long hiatus, Brett and I have completed the fourth podcast episode.  In it, we discuss Froglube, Palmetto State Armory, 5.45x39, SHOT Show predictions, and some other random things which may or may not interest you.

Froglube, the minty green gun lube/toothpaste some people love and others love to hate, has been rumored to be the same as Tracklube Plus, a blue roller coaster track lubricant paste. Seal1, an orange gun paste, has also been rumored to be the same as Froglube. If all the rumors are true, that means Froglube, Tracklube+ and Seal1 are all the same product. Back in June, I was asked to review the Faxon ARAK-21 upper by the company. I received it in August and just finished up the review. After a phone call with the owner, I made a followup video discussing some of the features of the upper.

FireClean, in a new press release, states that the use of cooking oils as firearm lubricants is dangerous and could lead to the destruction of your firearm and injury - potentially even loss of life. FireClean has stated to me that they have NEVER used or even tested canola or soybean oils such as Crisco cooking oils as part of their formulation. In the last week I have noticed allegations made by the maker of a gun oil that FireClean is a) nothing more than Crisco vegetable oil, and b) will cause the action of a weapon to "gum up" if left on the weapon for more than six to twelve months.
