The last article published on this blog was composed while I rode in the back of a Bolt Bus from New York City to DC. Since then I’ve been traveling pretty much nonstop, but managed to write a few articles for other sites. For your enjoyment, here they are:
The Firearm Blog: SPOT Global Phone Review
Arms Collective: How Betty Got In My Pants
Arms Collective: Is Your Rifle Zeroed?
Arms Collective: Let’s Not Be Pedantic About Firearms Technology
And before anyone asks, yes, the third part of the muzzle device test is on its way.
I do have issues with people using terms that actually mean something else.
I don’t care about the “suppressor” vs “silencer” debate (hell, Maxim used the term silencer), but when people say “clip” when they mean “magazine”, it does bother me. Primarily because a 5.56x45mm clip also exists, but has a different function than a 5.56x45mm STANAG magazine (but here I open another can of worms because a STANAG mag does not actually exist if you want to be anal about it).
It’s kinda like hearing people call a PSL a “Dragunov”. Just rubs me the wrong way (though I will not always correct them obviously, and if I do, it will be done politely).
Andrew,
At your earliest convenience, please check your YouTube inbox and respond to my message titled “AR”. Thank you!
There is nothing as rare as a short but informative article. Good reads.
The Betty post title is epic.
*golf clap* and professional respect, dude. 🙂
