The Kimber Rimfire Target conversion kit – or a competing kit of similar quality – is a must have for 1911 owners, in my opinion. I’ve owned this one for years and use it more than practically any other firearm-related product I own.

Awesome video as always. Looks like a great time and valuable training aid as well.
Thank you for your time Sir. You are a true gentleman. Wonderful video.

Can’t wait to see your AR conversion video.
I have one of the Kimber Conversion kits. The only problem I’ve had was when it was new I had to send it in the Kimber for a minor adjustment. (I think they removed a burr and smoothed the feed ramp) Good investment and works well. Run mostly CCI Mini Mag 40gr and Federal Bulk with few problems. I have found it runs best when well lubed.
Also, own a Kimber 1911 (45acp) and overall I’ve been disappointed in it’s quality, but Kimber’s customer service has been excellent.
Andy – great video, as usual! In the video, you mention that you have a Glock conversion kit. How has that worked out for you? How well does it cycle ammo? What ammo does it shoot reliably? Would love to see a video on it! Thanks!
