No need to apologize for the length. I think you devoted the right amount of attention to detail without going overboard. I appreciated your comments, especially on the day-to-day usability of each.
I agree. There’s enough halfass reviews out there. Content makes a good video and you cannot have content without length. If someone doesn’t want details there are plenty of other vids out there with some guy fondling his knife for 1:34 on YouTube.
You should look into the Benchmade 615 Mini-Rukus. It is S30V and has almost the exact same blade shape as the Griptilian. They have it listed for $230 but you can find it for less ( I picked mine up for $160). Its a heavier knife but I like that. It has a much more durable feel and the handle is metal with Micarta scales. My favorite feature over the Griptilian is the handle is much longer (almost half inch) with almost the same size blade (.05 inch shorter) and sits very deep in the pocket for more discreet cary.
