…for my dad, that is.
He won’t officially receive the Kahr CW9 until Christmas, but we went to the range yesterday and fired approximately 200 rounds of various 147gr JHP (Gold Dot, Ranger T, Ranger Bonded, HST, Federal Tactical Bonded) as well as another 50 or so mixed FMJ of all weights – it functioned perfectly.
Recoil was noticeably less than the CW45, although it still exhibited some degree of what I would call “trigger guard slap.”
I likes mine.
Shoots good or as good as I can shoot it..
Always on my side…except at my “Gun Free Work Zone!”
Jeez, is dad trying to pull the trigger with the palm of his hand? Less booger hook on the bang switch……
He shot it better than I did, so I didn’t offer much in the way of advice.
Depending on the size of a person’s hands and any other hand problems, that could be very difficult on a gun the size of the CW9. I have a PM9 and gripping it optimally isn’t easy.
Besides, who cares if all the shots are placed well?
Let’s not get all worked over how much finger might be on a trigger. It’s just one small part of the entire hand – eye coordination. Not everyone learned high level target and competition ergonomics 40 years ago, they were still be discovered. Didn’t keep them from being good shots.
It’s ok, tho, Andrew did the necessary face coverup, no need to excite legions of young women to abandon internet commandos for the real thing. Be glad love is blind, the future generation is safe with you.
I had one of those. Don’t know why I got rid of it, just another regret on the list of “Guns I should have kept.” I didn’t have it terribly long, but put a little over 2k through it of various brands and types of ammunition with absolutely zero issues. They’re solid guns.
