Glock Beavertail Test Update

Here’s the 3 month update on the Glock beavertail. The original video can be found here.

I plan on making another video in approximately 3-4 months, as I get more time with the weapon.

I’d like to thank GunsForSale for providing the 9mm and .40 S&W ammo used for this video, and Glock for the beavertail backstrap.

  1. Great review!!

I installed the Grip Force Adapter on my Glock23 and it works great. Having big hands I have had issues with slide bite. The biggest issue I had was with an HK P2000 I used to own….damn thing shredded my right hand…

  2. Andrew, thanks for the video.

By the way, what light and holster are you using here? I happen to have a Glock-branded light/laser combo on my G23C, and have been having problems finding a holster for them. I tried a Malabar Front custom made holster, and while I can’t deny the quality of the fit, am not happy with the lack of retention (and what I call the “side-stabber”, a long piece of the molding which conforms to the rear frame and slide and sticks up about 2.5″ from the compartment where the forward end of the gun and light/laser fit). Anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks again!
