I’ve been using Elzetta lights for several years and have found them to be extremely impressive. In this video, I discuss the features that set them apart from other lights.

I bought one with the flood lens maybe a year ago based partly on your recommendations, nothing but good things to say about it.
The fact that it’s stood up being mounted to my shotgun while firing several Lightfield Commander 3.5″ 12ga super-magnum slugs – which are on the retarded end of the recoil spectrum – speaks volumes to me. I am not surprised that their demo unit that’s been used repeatedly as a hammer still works.
I wish they had a hybrid IR/White light LED, like the surefire one. I wonder if they have thought about it…..
I know IR filters don’t work well with LED, so it makes sense that they don’t have the filter caps, but a durable dual function one would be a nice option, even if it was $$$$
The specs are certainly there…if only they didn’t look so phallic…
No love for Surefire?
I like Surefire, but I don’t think that they have a light that’s comparable in terms of durability.
A few years ago I discovered Surefire LED flashlights. I now have them in the autos and spread around the house. Once you go to a high quality light there is no going back. My wife was so impressed she had to have one to carry in her purse. I’ve heard good things about the Elzetta lights which I believe is a Kentucky company. May have to check them out.
