That’s smooth.
Functioned nicely without flash, with only a single script request and one cross-site request. Even the flash video was failsafe (it asked to download as an .mov when opened with flash disabled). No auto play, either.
Ten thumbs up. I’ll send them an email raving about their web designer, because god knows the gun industry needs to figure out what good websites are.
Compare it to the NRA homepage, which just says “download flash player, then we’ll talk”.
Hopefully this flashy site doesn’t mean a hike in prices. That’s the one thing that went through my mind when watching these videos and thinking about the design costs and the bandwidth to feed them.
I noticed most, if not all, of the pictured lowers have a new pistol grip I’ve not seen before. Does anyone know what grip that is? It looks interesting.
It’s awesome that the ‘indigenous people’ in the video on the front page are innocent civilians instead of ‘terrorists’

I agree. Although as a Flash padawan, I like what can be done with it, the cleanliness of the BCM site impresses me.
i really dont see the purpose of the new site because you cant order anything from it. its just a flashy brochure.
Flashy brochure, that’s the purpose. And it works.
Looks very well done, now if they could just get some BCG’s in stock.
I agree, it’s why I ordered a Daniel Defense one from Aim, I got tired of waiting.
Impressively clean. Next – the retail site!

really like the site, now I would like for them to get more product ready for purchase.
