PPS-43 7.62×25 kB/Case Head Separation – Raw Video

Note to self - when shooting cheap commie ammo through a cheap rebuilt commie gun, don't hold on to the magwell.

Kimber Rimfire Target 1911 22LR Conversion Kit Review

The Kimber Rimfire Target conversion kit - or a competing kit of similar quality - is a must have for 1911 owners, in my opinion. I've owned this one for years and use it more than practically any other firearm-related product I own.

Aerial Hog Hunting Deregulates in Texas

This does look like it would be quite a bit of fun. I don't know if I'd pay $475 an hour for it - especially if I was only riding along in an R22 - but hey, if you've got the money...

Electroless Nickel Plating Two Year Followup

It's been two years since I first started electroless nickel plating firearms, and I figured it was time for a two-year followup. The original post is located here. Here are my initial impressions after a few weeks with the devices. The Dynacomps are priced at $89.95 and feature a Melonite finish.

Kimber Stainless II 9mm 1911 Review

I have a love/hate relationship with my Kimber 1911s, as those who have seen my Custom II review know. I bought this Stainless II in 9mm almost three years ago, and shoot it quite often. In its original configuration, it was simply nonfunctional. However, it didn't take me too long to toss most of the Kimber parts and turn it into a very useful handgun. Would I do it over again? I don't know.

Unsafe Firearm Handling

Here is a three minute video on how not to shoot. Edit: They've removed the above video, but here's a 4 minute video (from the same organization) titled "The Professionals," in which you will see no professional behavior or skills. Thanks to John at No Lawyers, Only Guns and Money for the link.

Mossberg 500 Review

A short review of the Mossberg 500 shotgun. I've owned this example for a year or so, and find it to be fun to shoot as well as a versatile and useful weapon.
